Insect among Flowers

What began as a simple play of shapes and colors ended up giving life to this insect. To create this image, I first painted the insect’s wings and body with acrylic. Then, using pastel chalk powder and a damp brush, I drew the plants, which include cutouts of paper painted with acrylic. Once these cutouts were glued, I integrated everything with watercolor pencils.
